keel damage onmy boat?

16 ft fiberglass fishing boat…slight keel damage from beaching on sand bars…looking for some repair ideas without the expense of over-the-counter keel strips such as the ones offered my basspro shops…the less drag causing materials the better…thanks

    Really pretty simple, it’s time for you to learn to do some body work. Fixing gouges in your boat’s keel is no different than fixing gouges in a fiberglass car. Go to the car parts place and buy some fiberglass resin and hardner. Sand or grind in and around the gouges to give the filler something to hold on to, mix it up and fill the gouges then sand it and paint it.
